I Make The World A Better Place
A song with a message for young choir’s who want to make a social justice statement. The first verse deals with the importance of treating each other with respect, the second verse is about our mutual responsibility for the care of our planet and the third is about building a future, united and fair. With its simple descant harmony and supportive piano accompaniment, this song in pop ballad style is sure to be a hit with both young choirs and audiences.

"The finals for ChoralFest were on the last Tuesday of the term and my big choir was in the finals. They sang “I Make The World A Better Place” as one of their 3 pieces and they won!!!!!!! The children loved it because it had a great message with meaningful and age appropriate text that they understood and could relate to - they were able to 'tell the story'. It was quick to learn because of the repetition with no variations for different verses. The range and tessitura made it a very 'singable' piece and the students loved the beautiful harmonies.
