The Sun Will Shine Tomorrow

Composed for the 21st International Handbell Symposium in Hamamatsu, Japan in 2024 and dedicated to Carmel Daveson AM in recognition of her many years of service to the art of handbells and inspiring generations of handbell musicians over many years.

The Sun Will Shine Tomorrow takes its inspiration from a quote by 14th century English anchoress, St Julian of Norwich: All shall be well. At the heart of the work is a sense of optimism encouraging us to stay positive in the belief that at the end of all things, the sun will shine tomorrow.

Scored for 3 – 5 octaves of handbells and handchimes, The Sun Will Shine Tomorrow is sure to delight ringers and audiences alike!

Please purchase one copy per ringer in your ensemble. The price is in Australian dollars.
